-an, ian, arian: suburban, Canadian, disciplinarian

-ate: considerate, fortunate
-en: golden, wooden
-ese: Chinese, Japanese
-free: carefree, dutyfree
-ful: careful, painful
-ic, ical: atomic, psychological
-ish: girlish, childish
-ive: creative, supportive
-less: hopeless, painless
-like: childlike, ladylike
-ly: manly, monthly
-ous, -ious: dangerous, poisonous, spacious

词汇串记：

1. Before the premier（首要的、总理）, the old soldier scolds（咒骂、
申斥） the cold weather.
老兵当着首相的面咒骂寒冷的天气。
2. Whether the weather is good or bad, neither father nor I am going
to the gathering（聚会、收款）.
无论天气是好是坏,父亲和我都不去参加那个聚会。
3. The Particle（粒子、微量、语气） party's partner participated（参与
） in the particular（细节、独特、精确） Parliament（国会、议会）.
粒子党的合伙人参与了特别议会.
4. For convenience（便利、有益） of intensive（强烈、透彻） study, he

5. The virtueless（毫无优点） girl's duty is to wash the dirty shirts

词汇辨析：

fulfill, accomplish, achieve, complete

这几个词都表示“完成”。其区别在于：
1. fulfil 强调“完成”某种誓言、希望、义务、职责等，当后接反身代词时，
表示“充分发挥自己的才能”，“完全实现自己的抱负”。如：
This chimney fulfils the function of taking away gas fumes.
这个烟囱发挥着排除煤烟的作用。
You can go out and fulfill yourself.
你可以出去工作，充分发挥自己的才能了。
2. accomplish 强调“完成”的过程和结果，或强调“完成”过程中的熟练技巧
等。如：
She's accomplished a great deal in the last few weeks.
在过去的几周里，她完成了很多工作。
3. achieve 表示经过一番不懈的努力，最终“达到预定目标”，取得成功或胜
利。如：
Women have yet to achieve full equality in the workplace.
妇女们要想在工作中与男性完全平等还得继续努力。
4. complate 表示“完成”分配的任务或指定的任务等，如“完成”学业、工作
等。如：
The students have just completed their course.
同学们刚刚完成了他们的课程。
